Scar Revision/Camouflage & Stretch Marks
The area needs to be completely healed before treatment takes place. A scar can take up to a year to fully heal. Once the scared area has healed we can then work to smooth and improve the appearance, this is called scar revision. These treatments are performed in a treatment plan over a period of time too slowly improve the skins texture and integrity.
Scars are never the same as the body will heal differently from person to person, thickness, texture will all be different. We may not always advise camouflaging the skin immediately. Quite often we will recommend a treatment plan of Scar Revision to improve the texture, and colour first. Then at another appointment we will work with adding ink into the skin if need be. That's why each case is totally unique, we will access before going ahead with any treatment, and tailor your treatment to you.
